
Career
Thierry Schaffhauser studied at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, where he obtained his PhD under the direction of Professor Richard Ernst, laureate of the Nobel Prize in chemistry in 1991.
He later worked in research and development for Ciba-Geigy (known today as Novartis) in Basel; he is the author of several international patents.
His career has since been in the financial sector, working with Atlantas SAGA in Geneva and serving as a portfolio manager for private clients.
Furthermore, he constituted, in Luxembourg, Atlantas SICAV, a UCITS investment fund for which he was director and co-manager for more than 30 years.
He joins Alias Partners with the aim of developing and managing a range of investment funds. He also intends to look after a faithful and demanding clientele.
